It is a great day to be shut up inside and watch the snow fall,life is good.
Snow is so pretty, clean,refreshing,new. Jesus is just the same, all new and sin free. How are we in that walk.do we live a life that is clean and refreshed from Jesus or are we a wreck from the ice storm of sin in our life?
When we are snow white and clean before the Lord than all is good, but sin creates problems wand separation from God. We must put our trust in the giver of life and our faith in him.remember…
1. A servant serves..not just lip service but a desire to see the Kingdom of God blessed.
2. A follower of Christ is committed to the Kingdom,not a shallow one day event but a lifelong journey.
3. A child of God is just that…adopted in the family of God never to be separated.
We are to part of the winning team…Gods team.

Just like many church members I have been awaynforma while, but by the grace of God and good doctors I am here. This has been a tough few months, but things are better. The new year has me excited about what God has in store. I am motivated to see a life changchain revival in SW Virgina and where I live. How does this happen…first we must be Real for God and his kingdom. When we put aside the calloff the world and take on the person of Christ we will be changed. Second, we need to stopplaying church and get in to the battle. You have a story to share about Jesus, then share it! Don’t be a wimp be a warrior! Third, let go and let God! Give him his place in your life. Stop be a pew sitter and be all you are called to be for Jesus!

Today is a day that you have been given so livinfo for Jesus!

It is a beautiful thing to sit in a world that was created by God for his people and to be aware of the blessing of God for his people. many go through life with no direction or motivation in a battle that is them against the world when as a Christian it’s me and Jesus on the winning teaam together. When will people learn about the GRACE of God and the gift that he has given for you and me. I am unsure. What i am sure of in the end God will be the final decision that we have either accepted or rejected.

Brennan Manning said, “It is always true to some extent that we make our images of God. It is even truer that our image of God makes us. Eventually we become like the God we image.”

The inage of God we have is the visual of the Glod we serve and how we see the love he has for you and I.

In what the news called “The Miracle at Quecreek,” nine miners trapped for three days 240 feet underground in a water-filled mine shaft “decided early on they were either going to live or die as a group.” The 55 degree (Fahrenheit) water threatened to kill them slowly by hypothermia, so according to one news report “When one would get cold, the other eight would huddle around the person and warm that person, and when another person got cold, the favor was returned.” “Everybody had strong moments,” miner Harry B. Mayhugh told reporters after being released from Somerset Hospital in Somerset. “But any certain time maybe one guy got down, and then the rest pulled together. And then that guy would get back up, and maybe someone else would feel a little weaker, but it was a team effort. That’s the only way it could have been.” They faced incredibly hostile conditions together—and they all came out alive together. What a picture of the body of Christ.

I got up early this morning and was reminded of my childhood. As a kid i would be the first up and turn on the TV and watch cartoons, all morning. It was the coolest to be able to sit and dream about far away places with far away friends casing ”bunny rabbits” and saving crime fighters. What happen to the old days and the cartoons. Now all we have are reality shows and un realistic cartoons. Is the world in a state of decay?

The world we live in is changing, everyday. The cool stuff is not like it used to be, people are different, or are they? If the world is to change the people must change. We must change our focus and direction in life. We as a nation need to remember that babies are special people, older people are just grown up kids, and before long we will be old too. The world needs to show love to all we meet, the Love of Jesus.

From Scobby Doo to late night tv we all are in the process of getting older, we just need to remember that, the happiness of life.

Spring Time

I love this time of year with the birds, green grass, and the Master’s. i am amazed at the beauty that one place can have. I wonder what it looks like the rest of the year, are the trees ugly, the creeks overflowed, and where do all the people hide. See the Master’s is a lot like a christians walk with Jesus. Some days we look all perfect, and trimmed, with budding flowers in our life, and on other days we just look worn out, unmanaged and covered with brush from a hard winter.

If you and i are to be the picture of Christ love in a world that is gray with options called sin, we must be a beautiful reflection of God and his GRACE. You and i are to let the love of God cover us and wrap His arms around us and when we do we will let his healing and his forgiveness be the light of our path and the reason for our happiness. I know that not everyday can be perfect, there are potholes in every highway pf life, but when we trust God he will help us miss the problems we meet.

Being a leader means that we teach our people how to choose the best road to travel and then how to prepare for the journey. If we lead by living and respond by doing, people will see our desire for them to be the best they can be and to go the furthest they can go for the Kingdom of God. remember,

For those who live according to the flesh think about the things of the flesh, but those who live according to the Spirit, about the things of the Spirit. ⁶For the mind-set of the flesh is death, but the mind-set of the Spirit is life and peace. ⁷For the mind-set of the flesh is hostile to God because it does not submit itself to God’s law, for it is unable to do so.”

I am convinced that if we are to grow in who we are than we need to be streched out of our comfort zone. I f its a relationship, a job, or just personal growt there has to be a “strech” of our person. I love the thought that God can do that, he can take us past the place of who we are and lead us to who he wants us to be. God wants us to be more than we are and to grow in personal relationship . God wants you to be all he can be in you,

how do we get to the place where God wants us, we trust in his grace.

I sit at the window and look out on the hills and what do i see on the 5th day of April…SNOW! I am so amazed at the changes that caN happen in just a few hours. In the past few i have seen, sleet, sun and snow all in a 5 mile stretch of SW Va. When will it stop, when?

I do believe that church is just like the weather, always changing and hard to predict. There is always an ongoing situation that attempts to direct the PLAN of God to the plan of man when really all we do is tie the hands of the Lord. If we the church are ever to brake loose from the hold of the devil we need to Turn LOOSE ourselves. I am convinced that when we “Let go and Let God” the Kingdom will be blessed. When the lies of the enemy stop ticklin our hears and the unchurched become our passion we will see a change in the way our world functions.

Our world is so wrapped up in being religiously correct we forget to be biblically functional. God has a plan, and it’s not mans. He has the playbook, we just need to follow HIS instruction.

it has been a while since we last blogged together, but in this time i have been seeking and searching for the blessing of God. Each of us go through these travels, but many times we get lost in the crowd. I have been relocated not only in the “Zip Code” but also o=in the spiritual. God is teaching me that the travel we are on is a short one but we make it into forever. if you and i are aware that the days we spend here in the physical are just a whisper in the wind than the time with Christ is beyond our mortal understanding.

i have taken some time for reflection and growth, this is a good thing. as we allow God to teach us, we develop into the person he is choosing. To many people try to tell God their plan when they should just follow and believe. the call of the church, you and I , is to share the love of Christ with the world. Black, white, red, yellow green, all are in need of love.

Power and Conflict

it is amazing when people get on power trips all in the name of the Church. Inn a world where the church is suffering because of a lack of desire to experience God, people get so jacked up on their own mission plan. Gods plan for the church was a simple one, to reach a world that needed change. In Acts 2 after Christ had ascended he told the disciples to get in one place and pray until something happened. this was a cool way of saying, stay on your face and pray untill you hear other wise.

the present day church is in need of an upper room experience and an outpouring of the Holy Spirit, BAD! there are people that get on their own power trip that separates the work of God from the church in general. Because of personal agendas and anger based attacks the work of the church suffers. Our mission is to “offer Christ” to people who do not have a true understanding of Jesus sacrifice on the cross. many have heard the stories, had the emotional touch but have never truly confessed their sins and prayed for forgiveness. This is not cool. The church is to take the gospel to them. The fact of the matter is that many do not want “those people” in their church. their clothes are dirty, they need a hair cut or their not from here. there is a word in the greek for these ideas and its “HOGWASH!”

Scripture says ,”that the least that you have done to one of these, you have done to me.” The worst way that you make people feel welcomed in the church is the greatest way that you welcomed Christ. If Christ were here today he would be hanging with the untouchables of society, the hookers, addicts, and addicted people who need his love. He would be hurt at the way the Big CHurch treats the children of pain. God has placed us in a position to show his love to a world that needs HIM, its time we begin the journey to the cross.

Church is Not a Conflict

I get so amazed when people who clam to be adults act like three-year olds on a power trip! When will the church stop all the back biting destruction and begin at the calling they are to do, win souls! Sunday i was faced with a conflict that in my humble way of wording things was just stupid! In a world where the work of the devil is seen more and more the so-called christians want to destroy the work of the church. We sit in our own little glass houses and judge those who “are not from here” and tear down the hand of God at work. please do not see my frustration as anger it is more disgust.

I am no better or worse than any other person but when I see the work of the enemy trying to tear down good lives and godly people it makes me sick. God placed us here for His glory now our own self satisfaction. The need of the church is to be the presence of the Father not a personal agenda of self. God loves us and His plan is to share that love. if the church moves form that agenda in any way than he is not receiving our worship. My question is a simple one, when did people get the power of the church and take it out of the hands of God? please tell me.

God loves us so much that he sent his Son to die, for me and you. I do not believe that he would want that death to be in vain.
