It is a new day

Well I want to let you know, it is offical I am getting old and I have proof! For most of my adult life I have served in youth ministry and loved it. I believe that only being 18 but having 30 years experience is a plus, but it will catch up with you. I have had students grow up, get married and have children, but I just heard from a young girl from my last church who is now a college student and all grown up. This was the first to make me feel my age. I am devestated!

On another point, HELP! I am seeking the direction for the church and the VISION that God has. To many times the flesh takes over and we miss the boat, well, i do not and will not miss the boat. Peter was the rock, but sometimes i don’t swim so good, (weight thing ya know). I just desire the will Of the Father to pour out into what He is calling me to do. To be a non-trad guy in a more traditional church, just bibds me up, it is a learning curve but I am learning.

I love where I am but I want to see the wall that seperates the peole of God from the Person of God is deppressing. I was told that i am not like anybody else, that is good as long as I am who God wants. How do we tear the wall down, the blue wall of silince that stops worship. I am hammered, Oh God Send The Rain of YOUR Spirit! Pour out into us the power of your pressence and dstory the barriers that halt the church.
